About Gene Witt

Gene Witt is a retired pastor and an artist. His passion is to reflect God's majestic glory through His creation. Since the recent loss of his wife, he has several times inserted couples into romantic natural settings.

Gene has a BS degree from Texas A&M Commerce, a master's degree and a THD from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He worked as a supervisor and section manager in the Semiconductor industry in Utah and Texas before becoming a pastor. He pastored several churches in Texas and Oklahoma.

When Gene was five years old, he contracted Polio in his left leg. Three churches in a the small south Texas town, prayed for him during his stay in a San Antonio hospital. After three-month, Gene walked 10 feet to the exit door of the hospital without the aid of braces. He continued rehab for another 3 months. His parents were told that he was the first child to walk out of that hospital without the aid of braces.

Gene believes that the prayers of those churches were instrumental in his recovery. He remembers the day in his hospital room, when a doctor told his nurse to take the brace off his left leg because something was happening in his leg.

When Gene was in his mid 40's, an issue developed with his left leg and a doctor told him that within 6 months he would be in a wheelchair. He turned the situation over to His Lord Jesus and in few weeks the issue went away.

He is now in his 70's and very active. He believes that with God, all things are possible and he hopes that by God's grace, his art at least reflects a bit of that truth.
